Google Assistant App Actions#
Control Sleep as Android using only your voice with Google Assistant integration.
By using App Actions, you can start tracking, manage alarms, and review your sleep history without ever touching your phone.
Supported Voice Commands#
The following phrases are guaranteed to work. You can use either “open” or “show” with any of the commands below.
Start Sleep Tracking#
- “Hey Google, open Sleep start tracking.”
- “Hey Google, start tracking in Sleep.”
- “Hey Google, show sleep tracking in Sleep.”
Stop Sleep Tracking#
- “Hey Google, stop tracking in Sleep.”
- “Hey Google, end sleep tracking in Sleep.”
- “Hey Google, finish tracking in Sleep.”
Manage Alarms#
- “Hey Google, show my alarms in Sleep.”
- “Hey Google, open alarms list in Sleep.”
- “Hey Google, show alarms in Sleep.”
View Sleep History#
- “Hey Google, show my last sleep in Sleep.”
- “Hey Google, open last sleep in Sleep.”
Troubleshooting: Google Assistant on Android 15#
On devices running Android 15, you must manually enable Sleep as Android within the Google Assistant shortcut settings:
- Open the Google app.
- Tap your Profile icon ➔
Settings. - Navigate to
Google Assistant➔Assistant settings. - Open the Shortcuts tab.
- Locate Sleep as Android in the list and tap Add for all recommended options.
