Eric Migicovsky the founder of Pebble is back with 2 new watches planned for this year. We plan to integrate those watches as soon as my own batch of pre-ordered devices will arrive. You can get your Pebble here.
The battery life promise seem really amazing with promised up to 30 days without charging. We hope we could implement HRV on the Time model but no details on that yet. Also it is not clear if SPO2 would be part of the premium model.
Still both models should provide activity based sleep tracking with unbeatable battery life.
Not sure if the Pebble Android app gets resurrected as well or if they will use some of the current alternatives like Gadget bridge or similar. Hopefully we will get a full featured companion app.

I was a big fan of Pebble back in the day. I had the original Pebble in the “Fresh Green” colour. I never used it for anything other than time keeping though, I don’t believe the original had any sleep tracking features.
These days I rock a Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, and I recently discovered Sleep as Android, been loving the integration so far!
However I read your post about the limitations of integrating with the Galaxy Watch, so I’m kinda curious about potentially picking up a Pebble again. Exciting to hear you’re already planning support for it!
Well this is cool to see! They are indeed developing a new companion app.
I was just having a look around to see if you had any mention of Pebble being resurrected, happy to see you were very much aware so early in the year! Loved having the sleep tracking on my original Pebble and Pebble 2, have an order in for the Time 2 and looking forward to having your app on it too 🙂
Hi @ghandigarcia, we ordered a couple of the revived Pebbles, but the library we need for integration is not finished at the moment. The Pebble team needs to solve some technical troubles first before moving to support for integration with 3rd party apps. We offered them all our help to make this happen, so we are looking forward to the cooperation. But at the moment, the Pebble 2 is not compatible.
Super interesting – let’s see when things move…
The pebble android app now supports third party connections. Have you been able to integrate it?
Hi @Paul, Pebble supports integration, but it still does not have support for accessing the raw data in real time. So it may work for notifications, but not yet for sleep tracking. We are in direct contact with Pebble developers and we offered them all our help.
Hi Lenka, do you have an update on the status of the support?
Hi, the Pebble is currently supported via Repebble – both new and old models. The companion app installed on the watch is needed – https://apps.repebble.com/52b77e12dfa4228e8200000a. You will need the new March release of Sleep app.
Any info on what sensors are supported in terms of spo2, heart rate, hrv etc.?
Any updates on this? I’m looking to buy a smartwatch and was looking at the Ticwatch 5, but its getting old and not great battery life.. Then I’m looking at the new Motorola Moto watch (Polar), but it doesn’t seem to be compatible with SaA? Could it be compatible since its partnered with Polar? Should I get the new Pebble (the Time 2 model, I guess?) and wait and trust that compatibility will come? They don’t mention SPO2 either.
Hi, Pebbles (the new and old models) are supported, and we are loving them, to be honest. SpO2 data are planned by Pebble team, but they are quite small team, so maybe the progress is not as fast as they wish for…
About the Moto Watch – it does seem to use the proprietary OS – is this correct? Our contact is support@urbandroid.org. Thanks.
I have been using it the past couple weeks on a C2D and it has been working great!
Compared to the ticwatch which was deemed the previous king – does it have more or less sensors that can be tapped for sleep tracking?
Thanks!
Meaning all other of your SAA metrics can be used already – and SPO2 coming at some point as well? Nothing else missing?
Sounds intriguing!
